A Step Forward’s mission is to build confidence, self-esteem and a sense of pride in our youth. To provide our girls with opportunities that they may feel are unreachable, to help them achieve positive outcomes, to build a belief in them that no goal is impossible, and that education is important to attain those goals.

All Girls Flag Football & Mentoring
A Step Forward is a program that provides mentoring
and educational support for youth, 12-17 years of age in the Philadelphia area. The program will form
partnerships with local schools, churches, and other
youth organizations. The goal is to foster a commitment to youth that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to education and to reassert a sense of hope in the future of Philadelphia’s young people.
Parenting Resources
We will provide single parent families with basic needs, parenting education, and resources to care for and sustain their family. To give parents a sense of pride where they can care for their children in a positive and loving environment.
